Take part in a FREE run-bike-run with the Triathlon Trust & Festival ambassador Lauren Steadman
This family-friendly GoTri activity will involve a 300m run, before you put on a helmet and jump on your bike to complete an 800m ride. The tricky bit is always the final run and your wobbly legs will be tested as you complete the final 300m run to the finish. Everyone will get their own time and a certificate to take home.
No need to bring any equipment with you, as the team from the Triathlon Trust will bring their amazing Cuda Performance bikes and helmets, and if you can't ride...don't panic, coz they will have some off-road scooters with them too. Registration will be on the day at the Triathlon Trust tents.

How I Got Into....
One of The Fitness Festival's aims is to show that there is an activity or sport for everyone. The Festival remains free to attend so that we remain accessible and can inspire as many people as possible.
'How I Got Into...' will feature 3 athletes representing sports that might not immediately come to mind when looking for a new hobby. The panel includes Skeleton athlete Kimberley Murray.
Mental Wellness and Exercise Panel
Neuroscientist James Findon specialises in using neuroimaging techniques to explore the brain of people with depression, anxiety and autism. James is a passionate advocator for the role of sport in mental well-being and believes sport and exercise should play a greater part in treatment strategies for a range of physical and mental conditions. James is also the founder and president of London Universities and Colleges Athletics (LUCA), an organisation that develops athletics across 20 universities in London.
This panel will consist of three expert guests including University senior lecturers.
Festival Entrepreneur Panel
Three inspirational entrepreneurs explore what it takes to build a successful brand in the health and fitness arena. The panel includes Natalie Summers, who has built successful fitness businesses alongside co-authoring a best-selling book with Bear Grylls and running mindset workshops, retreats and becoming a mentor and keynote speaker!
Special Guests: Nuts Over The Atlantic
Nuts Over The Atlantic rowed for the entirety of the 2017 Fitness Festival and return this year to host a talk and Q&A about their 50 day Atlantic Ocean crossing and fundraising for the Movember Foundation!
You'll hear all about a journey which tested the four friends to their maximum both physically and mentally with no end of challenges and problems to overcome along the way.
